Cameron Purcell to manage Alex Picot's Guernsey Operations
JERSEY, CHANNEL ISLANDS, February 04, 2009 /Accounting PR News/ -- Cameron Purcell, a Director of Alex Picot Limited, will now be managing the Group's Guernsey operation.
Alex Picot Limited is an independent and long established firm that offers both corporate and individual clients a range of comprehensive and integrated tax, audit and accounting services.
Derek Rhodes, Partner, explained: "Cameron will be taking a leading role in terms of our Guernsey operation. He will enable us to drive forward the Group's strategy in both Jersey and Guernsey - both financial centres of excellence.
"Cameron has been with us since 1991 and so has a wealth of experience of dealing with both the technical and client relationship aspects of the business. Guernsey has a key role to play in the Group and with resources readily available we believe that we are extremely well placed within that market."
Cameron joined Alex Picot from University having graduated with a BA Hons in Business Studies. He subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant and is also a member of the Securities Institute.
Cameron said: "I am looking forward to bringing my client relationship skills to this role and will be splitting my time between the two Islands. Part of my mandate will be to grow and diversify the Group's business by working closely with clients in order to provide tailored tax, audit and accountancy services.
Cameron has been the manager of the Business Services Unit in Jersey since 1999 and he will continue to be responsible for the affairs of a range of Jersey clients including individuals, trading and investment companies.
