New online wine retailer welcomes its 10,000th Naked customer
New online farmer's market for wine, Naked Wines ( http://www.nakedwines.com ), which launched only 4 months ago, has recently welcomed its 10,000t
LEXINGTON, KY April 03, 2009 /Accounting PR News/ -- Online Farmer's Market for wine, Naked Wines, which launched in December 2008, has recently welcomed its 10,000th customer on board.
The Norwich-based company, which was set-up by former Virgin Wines founder and CEO Rowan Gormley, hit the milestone figure last week during the launch of their 'wines for a GBP1' auction service.
London-based Amelie Menier, who visited the Naked Wines' site to order a case for a Ghanean Charity event, was flagged as the lucky customer.

Naked Wines have since refunded Amelie for the cost of the wines and will be auctioning off a second case to raise money for Raise the Roof, Amelie's chosen charity.
EURI was really pleased to be named as Naked Wines' 10,000th customer! It's a fantastic, interactive site - and being able to talk to the winemakers themselves, it's quite unlike any other wine retailer I've come across. I'll definitely be spreading the Naked word and ordering from them again!EUR
