Richard W. Gory leads A-1 Amalgamated Inc. Diversified Technologies to success in information technology
TINLEY PARK, IL, June 10, 2009 /Accounting PR News/ -- Richard W. Gory, President and Chief Executive Officer of A-1 Amalgamated, Inc. Diversified Technologies, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of information technology.
With seven years of experience in his field, Mr. Gory excels in the development of custom cutting edge computers. As president and CEO of A-1 Amalgamated, Inc. Diversified Technologies, he is responsible for managing finance, accounting, marketing, sales, information technology, websites, overseeing 10 employees, and managing clients' needs. A former model and waiter, Mr. Gory started his business in 2002 after his grandmother died and left him a small inheritance. He left the business to stay at home to take care of his parents who became ill, during which time he also built and repaired personal computers. He then decided to start his own small business called A-1 Computer Solutions which evolved into A-1 Amalgamated, Inc. He attributes his success to the work ethic instilled in him by his parents and to his father's philosophy to "dream big."
Mr. Gory is a self-taught computer guru. He is a Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist, a Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional, a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and a Microsoft Certified Desk Top Support Technician. Mr. Gory hopes to form partnerships with other companies to build computers.
