William E. Cherry, Jr. leads Community National Bank into new fiscal era

Mr. Cherry has 15 years of professional experience in managing business development, small businesses, representing Community Bank in New Hyde Park, NY and managing day-to-day operations, managing sales, overseeing the management of staff and teaching and mentoring others to help them achieve higher levels within the industry. He has also worked at Bank of America as a consumer market manager and attributes his success to his focus and doing the best he can do for each person.
A notary public, Mr. Cherry participated in coursework in business management at Saint Leo University. He is a member of The Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce, BNI Long Island Gold Coast Referrals Chapter, The Rotary Club of Williston Park. He was an active member of the Graham Avenue Civic Association, the Flatbush Avenue BID Association, the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Revolving Loan Committee, and the Rosedale Boys and Girls Club. He received the Bank of America Award of Excellence in 2008, 2007 and 2005 and in his free time, he enjoys golfing and traveling.
