Walter 'Pete' Frierson Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Walter 'Pete' Frierson provides consultations in the area of financial exploitation, scams and rip-offs of the elderly population
COLUMBIA, TN, November 01, 2010 /Accounting PR News/ -- Walter 'Pete' Frierson, Paralegal and Office Manager of the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in legal services.
With nearly 30 years of professional experience, Mr. Frierson attributes his success to his experience in the United States Navy (he was a dental technician and supply clerk) and his family values. At his current post, he provides consultations in the area of financial exploitation, scams and rip-offs of the elderly population. He also attends public and Social Security Administrative hearings, handles reverse mortgages, conducts outreach programs at local senior citizen facilities, manages the office and employees, conducts motivational speaking engagements, and networks with others in his field. In recognition of his achievements, he was honored with the National Service to Youth Award, the Outstanding Leadership Award, and the Dedicated Services Award. An active community organizer, Mr. Frierson is a former volunteer with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, which recognized him with an AA Award. He is also the five time recipient of the Good Conduct Award from the United States Navy, and is actively involved in civil rights issues. He is the former State Vice President of the Tennessee State Conference of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. He names Disabled American Veterans as a cause close to his heart.
Mr. Frierson received an Associate Degree in Marketing from Columbia State Community College, Cum Laude, in 1986.
