As Owner of CJ Thompson Bookkeeping Services, as well as throughout her incredible 24 years in the business, Cynthia has consistently displayed the dedication and professionalism necessary to be successful in the business world.
CJ Thompson Bookkeeping Services provides quality bookkeeping and accounting services with a personal touch. Among the services they provide are bookkeeping, payroll, taxes, data entry and advising on business expenses.
Cynthia is a Certified Notary and Bookkeeper and is also certified in Quick-books. She has experience working with several firms in the surrounding greater San Diego area over the course of her career, which began as a billing clerk in a law firm in 1990. She left the firm five years later as a billing supervisor to become an Office Manager/Bookkeeper in a CPA firm for several years. Her exceptional knowledge and skills then lead her to a property management company to create a Human Resource Department and as project accountant.
For the past 6 years she has lead a law firm as an administrator in overseeing operations including but not limited to accounting functions, HR, employee insurances and benefits; payroll, business insurances, library database; full cycle accounting, including billing and preparation of the financial statements and producing management reports.
During her educational career, Cynthia earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of South Phoenix in 2002. She also attained a Real Estate License in 2009. She is also certified in Individual Federal and California Tax Returns.
Cynthia is a member of La Mesa Chamber of Commerce and a Former Member of Administrator Legal Association. In the time away from her busy schedule, she enjoys cross fishing and reading mystery novels.
