GRAND RAPIDS, MI, June 29, 2010 /Accounting PR News/ -- William H. Schirmer, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lake Michigan Credit Union, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.
Mr. Schirmer has 23 years of overall professional experience, and has been with Lake Michigan Credit Union for 17 years. His daily responsibilities include ensuring profitability, and overseeing the finance department, corporate budget, mortgages, card and ATM services. He is the Chairman for the Investment, Asset, Liability and Pension Committees.
In 1986, Mr. Schirmer received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University. He is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of State Chartered Credit Union Supervisors, and the Credit Union Executives Society.
Lake Michigan Credit Union is the largest credit union in West Michigan with over 170,000 members and assets of 2 billion dollars.
