As a senior vice president of MAX LeasingUSA, Mr. Chafin specializes in origination and documentation. He oversees operations, handles accounting, and manages sales and pricing. He began his career as a commercial credit manager for a building materials group. Prior to attaining his current position, he worked as an asset manager for General Electric Company for four years and as a regional leasing specialist for De Lage Landen for five years. In his spare time, he volunteers with working on the Healthcare Initiative Committee, part of the Envision 2020 program, in which he helps and retains younger healthcare professionals to the region.
Mr. Chafin received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory & Henry College in 1978. He is a member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association. While at DeLage Landen Financial, he achieved the Winners Circle Award. In the future, he intends to continue working as a senior vice president within the company.
