During her professional career of 20 years, Mrs. Eldridge noticed that her community lacked bookkeeping services for small businesses. This encouraged her to establish PatnCat Co., which she has now owned for the past two years. As a business owner, she oversees company operations and bookkeeping services, which encompass the following areas: tax preparation, accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, bank account reconciliation, and financial reporting. Ms. Eldridge caters to an array of small businesses in the fields of manufacturing, real estate, retail, healthcare and finance. She attributes her success to the support she receives from her husband and team members.
At the Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology, Ms. Eldridge is pursuing a certification in general accounting. In 2008, she became certified as a professional bookkeeper by the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada. She holds additional certifications in microcomputer software support, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Sage, and business partnership. Ms. Eldridge is a member of The Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce.
