Citrin Cooperman Awards Two Philadelphia Students with Business / Accounting Scholarships
Philadelphia Accounting and Business Consulting Firm Presents Higher Education Grants to High School Graduates
PHILADELPHIA, PA, July 14, 2011 /Accounting PR News/ -- Citrin Cooperman, a leading accounting, tax and business consulting firm, announced that two graduating high school seniors from Philadelphia were awarded scholarships as part of the firm's 7th Annual High School Accounting / Business Student Grant program.
Donovan Outen of the Boys' Latin of Philadelphia Charter School and Stuart Richard Davis, II of the Mathematics Civics and Sciences Charter School will each receive a $1,000 annual grant for four years. Outen will attend Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa. and Davis will be attending Temple University.
Citrin Cooperman's college grant program, begun in 2005, awards scholarships based on academic achievement and a strong desire to pursue a career in the accounting or business fields. The firm awarded a total of 11 scholarships this year to students in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania for a total value of $44,000.
