Jeff has over 20 years of experience in the profession and specializes in manufacturing and distribution with an emphasis on Food and Pharmaceutical companies. His specific tax planning experience in those industries that include research and development credits, cost segregation studies, domestic production deductions, defined benefit pension plans, IC-DISCs, NYS Tax Credits for Qualified Empire Zones and the Excelsior Program, tax credit utilization, as well as, other high level sophisticated tax planning techniques.
In addition to Mr. Cohen's CPA licensure, he is the Treasurer of Long Island Elite (LIE), an award winner for the Long Island Business News "40 Under 40", a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and a Member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, Nassau Chapter (NYSSCPA). Mr. Cohen holds a B.S. in Business from the State University of New York New Paltz.
