Elizabeth H. Marchilena celebrates nearly 35 years in the finance industry

With 34 years of professional experience, Ms. Marchilena is responsible for overseeing bookkeeping and accounting functions for eight business clients, preparing cash receipts and disbursements, reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts, managing spread sheets and 1099s, analyzing financial statements of small businesses and helping clients complete the required supporting documents. Established 13 years ago, EHM Financial Services LLC provides bookkeeping and accounting services for small business. Ms. Marchilena has built EHM Financial Services into a very successful business by providing her clients with superior, accurate service tailored to each client's needs through affordable prices and ferreting out errors and correcting faulty bookkeeping. She previously worked as a legal secretary as well as for H & R Block for six years.
Ms. Marchilena received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Franklin Pierce University (1997), a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Duquesne University (1975) and an Associate of Science in Secretarial Administration from Robert Morris University (1971). She is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers. She attributes her success to her passion for her profession. In the future, she intends to expand her business by marketing her skills of reconciliation of general ledgers and credit card and bank accounts.
